Hello,

A few years ago, I was in your situation. I wondered if I could do more for my aging parent.  I wanted to be prepared for an eventual move to a more secure environment, so I looked into alternative living for ‘down the road’.  After a spending a week looking at many retirement homes, my father decided this was not for him. That was OK. A few years later, he was ready. 

Going down the path of looking for the right retirement home for my father and arranging for the move was not easy. I was not aware of all of the details involved in this process. Despite the overwhelming amount of information available, I did not know where to start. There was too much information, missing information, and contradictory information.  Once I started down this road, there were countless phone calls to make and meetings to attend in preparation for moving day. 

I learned much from my experience and have since acquired considerable knowledge in the area of senior moves. I am here to help individuals navigate through ‘the world’ of transitioning their parents to a more appropriate residence that offers safety and improved well-being.
